For reasons I can no longer remember, I started getting heavily into pattern design somewhere in 2001. It was fun to do, and kept me out of trouble. As my library of patterns grew, I decided to build a bit of a home for them, and DinPattern was born.
All patterns available here are free to use both commercially and non for the web and screen. There is a fee to use any of these patterns for print. Please view usage details here or contact me for a quote. I design these patterns just out of fun, and make no money from them. But, if you feel you have gotten some good use out of these patterns and would like to leave a tip, feel free to donate some pocket change to keep this site going.
Want to use a pattern to customize your twitter profile? This handy tutorial will help you out.
If you’re interested in having DinPattern create custom designs and patterns for you or your company, please feel free to contact me using the handy-dandy email form.
Also, if you’d like to wrap your iPod, Wii, laptop, Xbox 360 or any other gadget in one of these patterns; Decal Girl has made a few available for purchase.
A little about me:
I have been in the print design industry since 1992, and since ’96 in the web world. Working out of California, I strive to produce new and original artwork and designs. To see some more of my work, feel free to check out my online portfolio at evaneckard.com.
Donations are more than welcome

How do I use these patterns?
When you download each pattern, you’ll get a zip file that is an archive of two files. A simple txt file with a couple of lines of notes, and the seamless pattern image. The pattern image can be a gif, png or jpg file. The image file dimensions is dependent on the tile – some are larger than others, some are very small. These images are setup to be the lightest weight possible for web use.
You can easily create pattern fills in Adobe Photoshop to quickly fill areas.
At DinPattern, we don’t share any of your personal information and do not record or track any data except anonymous website statistics (page views, inbound links, etc.). This includes all pattern usage and data when you choose to “like” or share this site through social networks or personal sites. If you have any questions or need further details, please do not hesitate to contact myself through the site. Enjoy the patterns!
